“Tane’s Little!” - “No! Tane’s Big” is one of the more amusing arguments that we have on a regular basis with our darling 2 year old. In truth - both of these statements are pretty accurate. At his 5 month checkup, Tane’s weight placed him firmly in the 10th percentile for all boys in New Zealand - and he’s made it up to the 25th percentile for height. Tane is little.

On the other hand - this little man is growing up quickly - rolling over, steady head control, pulling hair, in generally just getting into trouble. Oh yes - Tane is big. So….how else have we kept busy you ask? Now remember - it is freaking cold, so our options are a bit limited. Well….Jen and I dressed up real fancy and went to a ball (haven’t been to a ball since college!)

We took the kids bowling with Yahya, Aya, and Zack….We’ve been back to the zoo….We spent the weekend with our good friend Colleen from the States…..We went to the “Kids show” where Ella played with a parachute and pretended she was an astronaut….

…but most of all, we’ve been enjoying our time with each other. Spring is just around the corner, and with it will come warmth, sunshine, and visits from family. Hope to speak with everyone soon!
